Pros

competitive pay, flexible hours, good supervisors, excellent product discounts. Adidas provided me with an opportunity to work over the summer with flexible hours and were very accepting of conflicts.

Cons

At times the working conditions could be very warm, and the supervisors seemed to possess varying levels of aptitude. Could have used more engaging and interesting projects.

Pros

Good Work life Balance. Brand to be proud of. While it is highly structured with many policies and procedures, the international staff bring balance to the day-to-day activities. Lots of possibilities for international mobility.

Cons

Like most large corporations, there is the typical hierarchal issues and office politics. The heavy structure of the apparel industry can make it difficult to push projects through to completion.

Pros

-Great discounts on stuff you actually buy. -Medical and Dental Plan (even though I couldn't afford it). -Comfortable uniforms (you can wear ANYTHING thats adidas and in season) -$300 allotment every three months that you can use to purchase your uniform items. -Cool events where you can meet people in the sporting world including athletes, agents, trainers, etc. -I had an excellent store manager.

Cons

***Management informally ask very much of their employees in terms of staying longer, doing various work that you do not specialize in yet they give absolute 0 in return.*** *** Management can alter their own clockings so that they do not appear to break attendance policy (no checks and balances for them) -Level of respect toward employees could be better. -Unreal attendance policy, I would say (realistically) 80% of the starting employees lost their job within the first year because of this. -It is obvious that the retail department would rather have new hires rather than sustain a veteran work force. -Human resource department is not efficient -Large corporation feels distanced from employees. -I had a very incompetent supervisor. -I had a regional director who was unknowable of the adidas brand.
