Pros

Close to S bahn and U bahn. Colleaues are mostly nice, Most TLs and Middle Management are basic Contact Center types, Looking out for themselves.

Cons

Not the job that was described and interviewed for. Turned out to be basically a call center position not actually Operational Risk Mitigation/Fraud Detection/Pattern Recognition/Full Investigation and blocking due to ridiculous AHTs.

Pros

* Many smart and supportive colleagues, Definitely bring amazing ideas and help you grow. * Good tech stack and shoutout to focus on building AI experts and community. * Focuses on customer frustration and making sure customers are getting what they want to keep high customer engagement. * Demanding work but manageable work-life balance. * Company benefits are good. * Community building like table tennis tournaments, Tisch tennis tournaments, occasional breakfast bites or lunch

Cons

Specific to Lounge by Zalando: * Leadership has a blind eye to how unfairly people are treated. * Success is only measured in how much business received from shipping something. * Constantly changing leadership or their approach creates a lot of uncertainty and unstability into teams priorities, and business focus. * Seniority in Engineering are inexperienced and lack the capability to make decisions or bring ideas or mentorship. * Pay gap between you and other people on same level is huge (open salaries initiative shows that very clearly). * OFM principle not mentioned but highly respected and followed is: Politics and Favoritism first, Everything else second. * No 13th month salary or any kind of bonus. * Salary increment is almost non existent - 1-2% increase in a year maximum. * Promotions require a lot of politics or just forget it.
