      Pros

      Great compensation, good benefits, great employees.

      Cons

      My group was part of an acquisition by Worley in 2019. I was with previous employer for 14 years and went through some tough times in 2008 with market crashing but did not loose employment during that time. Once COVID hit in 2020 there were massive layoffs by Worley right before end of the year due to project curtailment by clients. Company let go of many long term employees with no regard.

      Pros

      - good projects - good teams to work with, all very friendly people - work from home & flexible hours

      Cons

      - not a place where you can develop especially as someone early in their career - Young professionals are given minimal support - Huge push from management to offshore work to India (cheap labour, unethical) - Poor salary, limited pay reviews - A dinosaur company struggling to keep up. Partly due to the aging workforce and old habits... - Inability to attract and retain young talent - Lax attitude from many staff and management

      Pros

      Excellent on line processes procedures (athough some are "lacking substance" Excellent if you good at sales ...... not so good if you are dedicated Project Delivery professional. Too bad the company all the way up to CEO prefers salesman to delivery professionals.

      Cons

      Each location run on its own - dont be fooled that "local" works with Gobal Each location employs and reimburses based on their own rules and nepotism (sort of like a Dominos Pizza) No culture or incentivization for efficient and effective "delivery" results in more work. I guess if you sit delivered you would have no clue. Company incentive plans EXCLUDE 95% of Project Delivery professionals by design
