Pros
1. Fairly good rates of pay 2. Flexible benefits scheme (options for salary sacrifice to get travel, dental and medical insurance and other benefits) 3. Quite good IT systems (sharepoint and document management/retrieval systems. 4. People try to make the best of things.
Cons
1. Very little development/training 2. Forced to prioritise schedule over quality 3. “Call centre” layout of desks worse on 1st floor (27 GWR) as very limited natural light. Small desks and noisy office. Cheep chairs and desks. 4. Very few provisions for employees in the office - only basic domestic kitchen kettle for hot water, no nice coffee machines, only plastic disposable cups for water and disposable cups for making hot drinks in. Seems rather amateur. 5. Atmosphere in office is very depressing. 6. Not enough work to comfortably sustain the London office so job security is not great. 7. Very few social initiatives for employees. 8. No/little company loyalty to employees.
