      Big Company. Worked for Centre of Excellence Pipe Line Division for 5 years. Major projects

      Cons

      Because of low oil prices and work sharing, WP Edmonton office is reduce to around 600-700 from 2700 Engineers & designers in June2014.

      flexible work schedule - subject to the limits of what the customer needs/wants

      Cons

      employment at WP is almost exclusively tied to customers' engagement of WP. If the customer 'leaves' it's almost for certain that your employment with WP is over too. There is no sticking it out through the tough times.

      Pros

      Good working culture and some intelligent professionals to learn off. Offices located globally so there are opportunities to move around and gain some international experience.

      Cons

      Just another number to push out the deliverables, management doesn't really listen to the employees. Difficult to go abroad even though they have office globally.
