      Unique culture - takes a while to learn, but worth it

      Pros

      Culture of empowerment, flexibility, open-minded and visionary top management, don't feel 'stuck' in a role - you can play your strengths here. Not too much politics compared to other corporations this size.

      Cons

      It is still a little conservative in outlook - still a lot of 'old-school' management thinking within the middle ranks

      Pros

      Great company to gain knowledge as an entry level engineer from people who have been there for years. Friendly work atmosphere. Compensation is great compared to a lot of other places, but is mainly on par with its competitors.

      Cons

      Focus is put on following procedures but there isn't anytime to put the procedures in place or develop them as all of the engineers are busy charging to projects. The company doesn't like to have hours that aren't billable so therefore all training and development is expected to be done while you work or on your time. Has a very hard time gaining and retaining top notch clients, they go after the clients that are difficult to work with and this causes lots of stress amongst everyone on those projects.

      International company, Publically listed, Transparent policy & procedures, good safety culture, open minded & tolerant

      Cons

      Fragmented. A collection of small bought-out organisations who have difficulty working as a team at management level. Bought-out company managers should be told to get with the program or get out - but haven't been told this
