      Pros

      Global corporate therefore there are roles across the globe. I do see people moving countries but unsure how easy it is to move roles internationally within the company.

      Cons

      Quite unsophisticated for an ASX listed/blue chip global company of this size. Day to day life for employees is harder than it should be i.e. systems, processes, admin support (lack of) etc.

      Pros

      Hourly pay means that time worked equals time paid, for the most part. That is, there is immediate gratification for engineers that work overtime because they will be paid straight time for their OT hours.

      Cons

      You are always subject to whims of the market and of your clients. Sometimes an industry downturn will mean you need to find a new job!
