Pros

being part of the consulting team, what makes Woodmac special to me is the information (industry knowledge) we have to deliver on the proposition sold. At PwC and Accenture, we spent too much time and effort learning to successfully deliver to our mandates. We have haven recruiting consultants coming from tier 1 consulting houses which give us a unique blend of skills (consulting-industry knowledge) to have a unique position in the market place.

Cons

in the consulting side of Woodmac we do not have as many offerings as other consulting houses (Accenture, Bain, etc). Our offerings are designed for a growth environment (expansion) so when the markets turn "down" we suffer (as we do not do cost optimization, etc, we do not have offerings which adjust to a downturn)

Pros

Woodmac has an open work culture which promotes sharing of thoughts and ideas at any platform. Woodmac has a collaborative work culture where it is ensured that every individual is part of team's success and contributes to their best ability. Full career development and growth program, technological infrastructure and highly competitive rewards and benefits.

Cons

Woodmac is well aware of the pace with which it is moving forward and has rightly invested in ensuring this pace is sustainable. Keeping this in mind the change management process that follows needs to well executed.

Pros

Good job allocation, plenty of travel opportunities, industry interaction, good working hours (9-5), family care

Cons

Low cross-team interaction, Top-heavy structure, terrible bonus structure, changes are difficult - takes years for a simple update of IT infrastructure (website still appears 10 years old)
