VMware is a global leader in virtualization technology and a great company; People in VMware are really smart and I like the team spirit and atmosphere in the company. The interview process is very strict and only smart people pass successfully the interviews and receive offers; The product line is very interesting - VMware is building very innovative solutions and this require a lot of innovation and creativity. The products and solutions that VMware develops are industry changing and it is very challenging to be a part of this; Senior Management is very reasonable and leading the company in a very right directions; The work-life balance is really great. I haven’t done any overtime last 1 year; Compensation and salary is very competitive compared to other companies in the valley. The same applies for the benefits;

Deep technical engineering staff, still has small feel but nice to have the punch and $ of a big company. Very easy to get required resources for projects; servers, storage, etc. Very fair with compensation and one gets the feeling the core founders (Diane, Mendel, etc) really care about people working in a good and healthy environment.
