Customers like to work with us, lots of opportunities for going in new directions.

Cons

Lack of support from management in terms of resource to make things happen... it's like you have to do it on your own, and what is stated as a priority by management is often not the way resources are allocated leading to conflict and paralysis. Information management is abysmal, and lack of co-ordination across teams is laughable.

Great products, a belief in doing the right thing for our customers, a passion about our impact on IT and the planet and a great team to make it all happen.

Cons

The pace of change, demanding the best of you everyday, a growing company now with shareholder responsibilities is seeing an increase in red tape and focus on costs, to the detriment of innovation and delivery.

The company is in a great place to grow exponentionally. The work environment is great, people are great, and everyone truly has passion to improve VMware.

Cons

The company is growing fast and the company is feeling the growing pains. The great close knit feel of the company is dying. New management is being hired from large companies like Cisco and Oracle and management is trying to push its big company burucratic processes on VMware employees.
