Fascinating, industry-changing product, continuous innovation, and lots of great, smart co-workers.

Cons

The company grew so fast that it's still trying to catch up with itself & put in place processes and structures befitting its size.

Pros

The good thing in working at VMware it to be a part of the most exciting, advanced technology company. This is a good place to create connections / networking in IT industry.

Cons

Sectionalism - Operation is not so much effective. Poor delegation - micro management style had not been changing since VMware was 100 people company until now its even over 6000 people company. As a result, the decision making process is sometime very slow. American centric and no torelance to local commercial custom made it difficult to be strong in non English countries.

Cons

You work hard and it can still be frustrating finding the 'right' person to talk to sometimes.
