Pros

Great place to work if you are highly skilled in Thought Leadership. Great WLB. In fact some folks at VMware ANZ work very little and still get promoted!

Cons

If you haven't personally shafted at least 10 of your colleagues you won't be eligible for promotion. Some folks may find this hard to achieve. Sometimes the queue to kiss the ring can get quite long and your colleagues will jump the queue increasing wait times. Can be frustrating. The snack choices in the kitchen could be better.

Excellent pay, stock options. Work is good with decent work-life balance

Cons

HQ heavy, remote sites don't always get their share of good work. Some of the managers have a services mindset and not a global 21st century one. HR sucks - expect terrible interviewing experience.

Still toxic and racist practices despite two years in the acquisition.

Cons

Very toxic. Bonuses and promotions are based on ethnicity (Indian). Heavy hiring of H1B Indians. Layoffs each 6 months for non-Indians.
