benefits, salary leading edge technology, autonomy, free product training if you can find the time to do, employee recognition program

Cons

No work/life balance Processes and internal IT infrastructure not established to support tremendous employee growth (i.e. access to available technology tools, communications, training, divisional contacts) Lack of HR support Constant change without communication or contribution from internal or external stakeholders HR positions VMware as a collaborative team environment but it is very siloed - Management is very tactical and does not support the requirements of the department in order to work efficiently. Managers get promoted without sufficient people management training or leadership skills

work with smart, friendly people stock options (when they used to give them) beautiful main campus cutting edge technology

Cons

no career advancement at all very political - management only hires & promotes their favorites much too much middle management at the expense of worker bees work long hours - expected to be on call at all times constant layoffs bad infrastructure - very manual tasks cuts employee productivity hard work is not appreciated
