Myopic Leadership, Senseless work environment especially in GSS Bangalore, Herd Mentality - no chance of any growth prospects unless you are one of the "favoured ones" Forget growth, professional development or perks if you are anything but a Tamilian/Malayalee/South Indian.

Pros

A few talented people, generally flexible hours, pretty campus, generous ESPP and 401k matching.

Cons

Politics. Horrendously clueless upper management. Rewards for politics, layoffs for hard work. Rare promotions for qualified contributors, regular promotions for rear-kissers. Hopeless levels of recognition. Terrible disrespect for work-life balance and employees' time in general.

Pros

I met some real genuine people, particularly engineers. Great respect for my team members and the guys I worked with daily.

Cons

Poor Management to say the least they treat people really poorly, Senior Management are reactive and don't care about anything except protecting their own jobs, afraid to speak up and many running around rubbing shoulders and ego petting. Not a natural leader among the pack.
