I have over two decades of working experience in the US and Tipico has been the worst experience by far. Not only my time spent there was toxic, the resignation experience was super weird. I can truly write an essay but here are a few that immediately comes to my mind: -inexperienced C level. -micro management at its peak. C level will tell you how to write sql and how to test. -under compensated and over worked. -product team is a joke. -hiring process is ridiculous. -pay is significantly lower than any other startups out there. -no equity which is one of the offerings every startup has. -NO work life balance. -fast paced due to lack of resource and process. -long working hours with continuous pressure. -majority of their operation is run by folks NOT living in the US. Ones who are in US have relocated from Germany because the salary offered is comparatively lower than any other company in the US. -leadership always hired outsiders, above an employee, instead of promoting one; so forget about all the false promises made when you were hired. I have seen this happen to multiple employees during my tenure. -mandatory 2 days a week in office while others companies are going remote. -no summer Fridays. I think, all the above Will paint a picture of what it will look like if you choose to work at Tipico.
