Pros

As a field application engineer, I had lots of flexibility in my work schedule and had the opportunity to work on many interesting projects.

Cons

Texas Instruments is a very large company and it often feels like you are just another employee. They also tend to be a little more conservative with their products and are not always at the cutting edge of semiconductor technology.

Pros

-good benefits -great people to work with -fair salary -great work/life balance -good place to start out career -TI engaged in being an excellent corporate citizen

Cons

-Management is very much about good old boy network. They don't care too much for the individual contributor morale...have been told by managers that individual contributor work satisfaction is not a care about for them. They're only concerned with the bottom line. -Low chance of career advancement...if you're not accepted by the good old boys, you don't have a chance for anything....and don't make any honest mistakes...you will be hung out to dry -Management is confused by definitions of management and leadership...some think that they are the same... -Not much focus on employee development
