-Great technology and vast resources to design and manufacture chips -Vast library of intellectual property to draw upon for design of new chips -Proud history of innovation and technical contribution to the industry -Wide range of tools and the latest tools in the EDA industry -Great support and interest from vendors because you work for TI -Access to wide range of publications and research done outside of TI -Great benefits and compsentation

Cons

-Executive management is extremely conservative about investing in large scale development projects -No company wide documentation control or searchable document library -Short term vision prevents most organizations within the company from investing in people, process, or training -Limited job opportunities in the U.S. due to major commitment to outsource jobs to countries with lower wages
