Pros

An opportunity to work with some of the best people in the tech industry. TI is committed to innovation and creation of new and exciting ideas for next generation technologies.

Cons

Due to the fact that TI is a publicly owned company, some of the ideas and innovation never see the light of day since making money quite often involves being at the right place at the right time; and making products and delivering them to the consumer needs to be a well and thoroughly thought out strategy.

Pros

Salary is good because of the location in Texas where things are cheaper relatively. You can find and interact with a variety of experts - software, algorithms, systems, digital, analog.

Cons

Lack of technical leadership where decisions are driven by non-technical Program Managers and Sales Managers. Program managers managing technical developers doesn't seem to be effective. Engineering managers with good understanding are required.
