Pros

The company takes an interest in its employees. My managers were great mentors.

Cons

Having to drive through traffic to get there (of course, that's the same all over the DFW metroplex).

Pros

Political battle everyday and this madness works. Stock price goes from $25 to $80.

Cons

No technical track. If you don't move to management, then you are out.

Pros

Texas Instruments has a wealth of cutting edge engineering. Management is old school, but they are neither afraid to explore new opportunities with serious money - nor are they shy about cutting loses when opportunity ends. The engineering team I worked with at TI was the MOST diverse of my entire career - ethnically, gender, international, poly-lingual. Eye opening and exciting!

Cons

Compensation is good, but not outstanding.
