Pros

The quality of work is outstanding in the industry. You never work here, because you will most likely have a chance to do what you like for extended periods of time. When you enjoy what you do, you won't get tired of working. Work life balance options are unparalleled in the industry! Good for starters and those who have given up on career ambition but like to settle with a monotonic career at the bag end of life. No peer feedback, so one gets to make good friends with peers. Great learning opportunities.

Cons

Ultimate path to career termination or career suicide. Hikes without rhyme or reason or logic or math. Bureaucracy is outstanding in the industry. Workload increases in proportion to pay hike for those who are not on management ladder.. alternatively if one gets pay hike of 20%, one is likely to work for atleast 10% more time, to keep the job.

Pros

Talented People Around. Middle management is very approachable and understands hands-on issues. Good career grooming.

Cons

Average Salaries. No Stock Options at lower job grades. Technical vision on digital side is very short sighted.

Pros

TI is the first MNC in India to setup operations under STP in Semiconductor sector in 1985. TI Bangalore R&D center has been growing cautiously but Sales & Marketing centers are opening up in many cities and growing rather briskly. The best Analog and Mixed Signal R & D company in India. The Bangalore center touches all key Business Units of TI Inc.

Cons

The Wireless BU has undergone a roadmap change last year which resulted in a major layoff. However the TI management helped to place most engineers within other BUs or elsewhere. The volatility of the market reflects almost immediately.
