Stressful environment, disregard for work-life balance
Pros
- people can be pretty inspiring - teams can be pretty diverse, but there is also a lot of purely German speaking teams - things move really fast - you get to learn a lot! :-) - possibility to influence and make changes in the processes - nothing is set in stone - pretty good equipment & workplace perks (cookies, fruits, veggies, vegan stuff)
Cons
- environment is super stressful - no one is exactly asking you to work overtime or on your holidays but the subtle expectation is always there (are you having normal holidays or Tesla holidays? Is Tesla still your priority?) - when speaking up and being honest about certain bad situations, it's not being validated and there isn't anything done with that - until the probation period is over, you can definitely never be sure whether you'll stay or not and getting a good feedback on your performance during those months doesn't mean anything - hire/fire policy sucks, no way to handover your work - quantity and fastness over quality
