Pros

My majority of my peers in the organization are wonderful people who are committed and hard-working. The company has the parts necessary to be successful, they just don't recognize it.

Cons

Lack of resources and rampant favoritism allows under-performers to drag their teams down, discouraging those with fresh ideas and contributions from even trying. Senior leadership is disconnected at best, but largely dysfunctional. My leader was a micromanager who was more interested in saying whatever needed to be said to further their own career and judged our team's performance via gossip versus true 1 to 1 connection and skills assessment.

Pros

they pay a salary. my specific manager is very pro-WFH

Cons

WFH-related marketing applies only externally- internally the company is aggressively anti-WFH. Extremely Germany centered. I'm sure it's fine if you're there, but as someone in the US, three of our offices don't exist as far as upper management is concerned. Extremely limited accountability for annual people survey. Folks not wanting to stay for more than two years got the response of "if you don't like it, leave" from the CEO ERGs usually devolve into exactly who you're thinking of getting extremely defensive, and conversation turns into making them feel comfortable. Company refuses to address the importance of Women's human rights publicly, citing that it's "Too political". ALL DEI work is volunteer-only, with no incentives or compensation for the work employees put in. essentially a marketing company that thinks it's a tech company.

Pros

The health insurance and dental are pretty good, with no monthly premium. That's it, nothing else.

Cons

Their RoE makes it so that you are often having your opportunities stolen by a colleague, with unfair dispute resolution (and clearly management plays favorites). Micromanaged by the calls you make and minutes you are idle. If you spend more than 5 mins idle, management will ask you why isn't your phone icon red (making calls). The pay rate is not really good but you think the commission will compensate for it. Nope, the commission is awful and low, and the quotas are unachievable. It used to be a good company, now it's all about the numbers for the shareholders. Extremely high turnover and no opportunity to advance in your carrier. Management often micromanages employees.
