Pros

International environment – Multicultural teams, chance to collaborate with colleagues from many countries. Flexible work options – Some roles offer remote work and flexible hours. Good work-life balance – Generally not overly stressful; employees can maintain personal life alongside work. Modern offices & facilities – Headquarters in Göppingen and Munich offices are modern and well-equipped. Supportive colleagues – Team bonding is strong; most colleagues are friendly and helpful.

Cons

Management issues – Lack of clear leadership vision and slow decision-making. Limited career growth – Promotion opportunities and long-term career development paths are not always clear. High pressure in sales roles 💼 – Employees in sales report heavy pressure to meet targets. Internal politics – Corporate politics as a drawback. Salary not very competitive – Compensation is considered lower compared to German big tech companies (e.g., SAP, Siemens, Personio).

Pros

TeamViewer's core offering (remote connectivity software) is generally well liked by the target audience and it's definitely in the must-have category vs nice-to-have. The people I worked with at TeamViewer were generally very pleasant and professional. TeamViewer also has a fairly mature partner ecosystem.

Cons

Leadership has mismanaged how this software has been sold for years and not a lot has changed in the recent period. If you're an enterprise rep, then be prepared to fight an uphill battle with customers who don't see why they should pay 5-10X more for what is essentially the same software being sold to the mid market space (sorry, SSO is not moving the needle like you think it is). You will also be paying for the sins of the past because many of their customers got used to TeamViewer selling their software like a point solution which they could get at fire sale prices if they just waited until the end of the quarter. This company spends vast sums of money on things which don't have a measurable impact on the business (like sponsoring Formula 1 race teams), but refuses to upgrade their CRM for the modern age--penny wise and pound foolish. It remains to be seen whether the purchase of 1E will pay off but based on the conversations I've had with customers, it'll be a while before they know.
