- Inconsistent hours
- Poor leadership
- Micromanaging
- Lack of (or superficial) communication between leads and team members
- Very few SD’s and leads care for team members’ well being and concerns
- No sense of team building and creating a workplace culture
- Terribly lacking training for new team members (at least for Small Format stores, the employees get about a week of training which covers every department in the store, and they are expected to do their work efficiently)
- Team members are expected to push merchandise as quickly as possible and are micromanaged to the point where if we take time to help guests or even take 30 seconds to socialize with other TM’s here and there, we are reprimanded for being “slow and inefficient”
- Multiple complaints from employees go unaddressed, employees left to suffer
- Company seems to have shifted to milking as much out of their employees as possible, leading to the few good ones to suffer and take the bulk of the workload, but also take the bulk of the expectations and criticisms from the leads
- No sense of leadership in stores; Team Leads are for a large part reduced to delegating tasks, rather than actual leadership duties
