Pros

I really enjoyed working at Target during high school, the pay was reaasonable for somone without a degree. They offered education for employees' who wanted to grow within the company.

Cons

The cons I have for this job have nothing to do with the company itself. I just had problems with shopping on my lunch breaks, lol.

Pros

Pays very well for performance; show results, get promoted! Dynamic environment, various tasks that you don't get bored

Cons

Terrible hours, but it's retail No sense of job security; you always worry about being "performance managed out" and replaced by the next recent college graduate Culture varies store by store, yet every store is expected to get the same results needed by corporate

Pros

Work/life balance Management by walking around, not confined to cubicle hell You get to drive a cool motorized chariot in order to zip around the warehouse.

Cons

Politics....hardest workers with biggest accomplishments don't get ahead. People who spend their time "statusing" and playing games, are the ones who get ahead. If you always wanted to know what it's like to work at a company on the set of Melrose Place or in the book Atlas Shrugged, then Target is for you.
