Target is a great company that really takes care of their team members. Personal development and performance is evaluated frequently and fairly. Store team members and Executive Team Members are always willing to help you out when you need it and give constructive feedback.

Retail, bad hours, long days, and weekends.

Most of the people that you work with are pretty nice. Getting time off is very easy I never had a problem

Cons

Way too much pressure to be fast and perfect. No matter how good you do the leaders always say thing like "next time try cut it down by 5 minutes" In-store promotion can be very difficult if you don't have a college degree, even if you know how to do the job they will hire someone off the street with a random college degree over you. I watched this happen many times, not just to me.
