Challenging career with great compensation package.

Pros

Target's compensation and benefits are great. Most of the leadership is very respectful and friendly. It is a great career path for anyone fresh out of college if you can get straight into a salaried ETL position.

Cons

It does take time to get acclimated to the culture and high expectations, and it can quickly consume all of your time if you are in a new or difficult role. It is nearly impossible for anyone with out a four year degree to advance in the company, which has a negative affect on morale at the hourly level.

Pros

Recognition for doing good work. I just didnt like the work however. I can say that, I have seem some people move up really quick threw Target. Someone I trained as a cashier is now an exec team leader a couple months graduated from college.

Cons

I think that some of the promotions are really biased and you really have to be a part of that "in" group to enjoy Target

Target is a great place to work because the executive managment do an amazing job of operating the store.

Cons

I am not as impressed with the supervisors. (team leaders)
