CORPORATE NIGHTMARE

Pros

Anything that you may be seeking at a corporate job can be found elsewhere, and with people that have actual business scruples, morals, and a desire to be productive. STAY AWAY from any "opportunities" here.

Cons

There is no training or introduction for corporate employees. There is no adherence to any type of company values - expect to be consistently lied to by every department you work with. Expect your manager to scream at you when the data you manage doesn't meet their peception of "reality." Prepare for your manager to lie and manipulate situations to his, or her, benefit. I worked across several corporate departments, and I saw this behavior in every single one- lying, backstabbing, manipulation of data and truths, and gross scapegoating. When I discovered things that the department had been covering up, my manager fabricated issues with me and He was no punished, and HR claims they have no responsibility to hold him accountable for lying, covering up mistakes, scapegoating another employee, and screaming. Company culture: not an ounce of positive culture. The only consistent behavior across all individuals and groups is to backstab and talk poorly about other behind their backs.

Tampa Shared Services Office is Highly Unprofessional.

Pros

Decent pay, and the larger company itself doesn't seem bad.

Cons

Management at the Tampa office is proud of their high turnover. To a point where temp agencies say they are afraid to send new applicants. They hire and fire so many people that they need special security rules because they screw with so many people's livelihoods, just for amusement. All day long, all you hear is gossip and personal drama. Quality of work is the last concern. New applicants come in and the two senior women just chat about what they look like, "rank" the men on their "eye candy" scale, and participate in a myriad of other things that are a complete HR nightmare.

Pros

Not having to go back

Cons

This business fostered an extremely toxic culture marked by dysfunction, fear, and micromanagement. Leadership was consistently incompetent—lacking vision, communication skills, and even basic professionalism. Decisions were reactive, not strategic, and often driven by ego rather than logic. Constructive feedback was ignored or punished, and high turnover was the norm. Morale was chronically low, and any attempt to improve processes or culture was met with resistance or retaliation. If you're considering working here, think twice. No job is worth sacrificing your mental health and professional growth. Avoid at all costs.
