      Pros

      You learn a lot, interact with customers and pretty much make your own decisions as to how you want your department to look.

      Cons

      Very little pay and lot's of responsibility. Your constantly asked to help in other departments especially as a cashier and have little time to complete your work.

      Most associates I work with are pretty friendly.

      Cons

      Where do I begin? - There's never any payroll, so there's never any hours - They don't appreciate you. - Doesn't matter how hard you work, if you're a backroom associate, it's VERY RARE that you'll become Full-Time. - (In the store that I work at, which is a high-volume store) they send way more merchandise that can go out. - They (management) expect you to do more than your job description requires

      Pros

      They work with your schedule, good for college kids

      Cons

      Extreme favoritism, promote employees that have no idea what they're doing to the point where regular associates have to fix mistakes made by the coordinator on a DAILY BASIS, they awarded "employee of the quarter" to someone who was known amongst other employees and coordinators to never come to a register when called unless management call them. They also make you harass customers to sign up for their credit card and threaten you if you dont.
