It's a good second job, but shouldn't be your full time job unless you're in management.
Pros
They are very supportive of training and promoting current employees. The benefits offered to full time and part time hourly employees are fair and in some instances generous. Stores try to maintain a friendly environment amongst the employees and towards the customers.
Cons
The pay is average compared to other retailers and the management environment from store to store varies. If the management style is to 'manage from the office', it's not worth working there at what they'll pay you. Like most retailers, their payroll fluctuates throughout the year. High payroll is usually during summer and winter holidays. During the rest of the year, the stores are staffed almost on a skeleton crew, so having managers that work with you on the sales floor makes all the difference. It can be very stressful if the managers don't support you.
