      Absolutely amazing comoany. I definitely recommend anyone to work at the Scarborough location at 401 & Kennedy. Everyone's friendly, supportive, and transparent!

      Pros

      If you are in a division that has a strong leader, Sun Life is a good company to work for.

      Cons

      There have been significant changes at the Leadership levels in Corporate, Group Benefits, Group Client Services and Individual divisions. A number of very talented leaders have left and they have been replaced by new people who do not value team engagement and are too focused on the politics of leadership. This has resulted in lower morale and in the Toronto, Waterloo and Montreal head offices.

      Pros

      There are a few genuinely delightful coworkers. They will always greet you with a smile. Hours are flexible with ability to make up lost hours.

      Cons

      Management VERY passive aggressive. Assures to face and then back stabs. Emails other management constantly, back and forth, However, never directly addresses the employee.
