Change, change and more change

Pros

Generous time off policy and good benefits. A fair amount of autonomy and nice work life balance.

Cons

Too many acquisitions in a short time has made the employees confused, conflicted and disjointed. Recruiting is tough due to lack of brand awareness. Lots of turnover in many areas of the company and constant "right sizing" keep the employees on edge. No real sense of belonging or loyalty.

- Nice people to work with - Diverse customer base allows you to experience different industry verticals, and technical environments - Good salary and bonus structure - Flexible work structure, work from home - Leader in on-premise integration. This provides opportunity to become an ESB, SOA expert

Cons

- Process-oriented, leading to several inefficiencies in obtaining approval on almost everything - German leadership has not identified the uniqueness of the North America market and their policies do not deliver - Recent acquisitions have not delivered - Aggressive sales stance not very customer-friendly - Career paths not very well defined at manager level and above - Leadership is trying to grow by acquisition, and not providing enough $$ to R&D internally. This will result in a challenge in staying competitive and expanding into newer markets such as cloud based integration. - Need a focused effort in offering a strong UI product to showcase value of the overall product suite
