      Pros

      -Good compensation and employee benefits -Great culture that is inclusive and very team oriented -They have done a great job at selecting and promoting the right leaders -Very talent and humble people -Remote culture -Really great product

      Cons

      Salesforce has recently acquired the company and has changed the culture substantially. Losing the startup mid sized company feel within a large corporation.

      Pros

      The product was well liked by their customers. Many customers fought hard in their company to keep Slack. Salesforce is a good company and tries to do the right thing.

      Cons

      Sales management was very negative. There is no positive feedback or coaching. It is a constant beat down. Salesforce got so big that the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing between Slack and Salesforce. Slack Regional Managers would often complain about Salesforce and its employees on team calls.

      Pros

      First of all, the product is great and our customers love the product. It's fun to sell and it's improved and updated continuously. The people at Slack are very friendly and the hierarchy is low. We try to make work fun, and that shows also to the customers. The pay and commission plan is competitive and you can buy some stock with a discount. Also the benefits given via Salesforce are very good.

      Cons

      I've heard that the culture has suffered after the Salesforce acquisition, but as a new hire I cannot say much more about that. There's also more bureaucracy now than before.
