Pros

The time zone difference is minimal, as the majority of interactions occur with the team based in the headquarters in Germany. 2. Sprints are scheduled at the beginning of each quarter, allowing for predictive workload management. Ad hoc tasks may arise approximately once a month. Planned leave can be coordinated well in advance with the manager. 3. The organization features a flat hierarchy, providing opportunities to collaborate with senior Staff Engineers from the headquarters. 4. The work environment is hybrid, offering the flexibility of remote work, with complimentary lunch provided on days spent in the office.

Cons

1. Promotion cycle is only once a year. It would take roughly 2 years to get promoted once joined
