I learned a lot throughout the summer, lots of hand on experience and lots of responsibility

Cons

lack of training from the corporation. for example, i was expected to know a lot by the first day which seemed a little unreasonable.

Thank you for taking the time to review Sixt! We are glad that you gained a lot of knowledge throughout your internship experience with us. Depending on the internship, different training is provided. For instance, if you are interning at a branch location there is a mandatory one week training for all new hires at our headquarters. This provides you with extensive knowledge of our fleet, sales processes, etc. If your internship was located at our HQ then our management team will provide the proper training. Regardless we will look into our summer internship processes and further investigate your concern.

Pros

Provided me with selling skills. You are allowed to work as much overtime as you would like.

Cons

Management is horrible. Managers try their best to not do their job. Instead pass on their tasks to a less qualified employees. If you get on a managers bad side or speak your mind then beware because your job will be in jeopardy. Sixt tends to only hire really young girls probably because the pay is so low. The commission does not really help either.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that the Rental Sales Agent role provided you with valuable selling techniques and the satisfactory amount of hours that you desired. In regards to your concerns, Sixt prides itself on being a very diverse organization when it comes to age and gender. Additionally, our commission structure is very lucrative and can offer a great earning potential for our RSA’s. We even benchmark salaries each year to make sure that we are staying competitive within our industry. We realize that you addressed many concerns regarding management. We strive to have a very welcoming and positive environment for all of our employees and will definitely investigate this issue further. If you have any concerns that you would like to address directly with our HR team, please contact Gaddy Fernandez at 954-874-1793.
