Pros

Friendly managers, bonus incentive, Christmas party ;), new company in the states so lots of room for promotion/growth

Cons

I haven't been promoted yet even though I am the best agent on the floor, having to share 1 stall with 20 male employees.

Pros

They work well with your schedule if you are a student as long as you are upfront about your scheduling needs. There are good opportunities to make an extra amount of income if you are a good sales rep.

Cons

Management is usually very young and often are not qualified to run a branch. There are usually no managers on the weekend and are only available over the phone. Sometimes there are no vehicles available to upgrade people into which may affect how you make your incremental revenue.

We appreciate your feedback on your experience with Sixt over the past 2 years! Thank you for your contribution to Sixt. It's great to hear that you have a positive outlook on our success in the U.S. market and appreciate the flexibility and earning potential that your position provides. We understand that we do have young managers at our branches. However, these managers have worked there way up from Rental Sales Agent positions and exceeded goals in order to get to where they are now. We are a company that thrives off of performance and motivation. With that said, there are always areas to improve. Even though we do have managerial training we are constantly developing ways to build off of this to provide great tools for our staff. Yes, managers do have a varied schedules that they may not work weekends depending on the location, however, they are accessible to offer support in cases that we need to offer different alternatives to our customers. As typical for the rental car industry, there will be times where a rental sales agent will need to improvise due to seasonality, overdue vehicles, etc. We will definitely take your feedback into consideration and we wish you continued success with Sixt!
