Thank you for your review. We are glad that you were satisfied with the commission structure as a Rental Sales Agent with us! What really separates Sixt from any rental car company is the positive customer service experience. We strive to make every customer feel as if they are in a 5 star hotel and our Rental Sales Agents and Customer Service Associates are a huge part of that. As an agent you have a lot of leeway to to go the extra mile for our customers. Without our customer loyalty we would not have revenue so this is always at the forefront for us. We are concerned about your comment regarding management. Fraudulent activity is not condoned and we have zero tolerance for it. This is a fireable offense and will not be encouraged by any manager. We will further investigate this concern. Our Area Managers are focused on management development and are dedicated to facilitating a great environment for our employees and and customers alike. Similarly, motivation is provided through coaching techniques and incentive based friendly competition among agents and associates. Although the sales position can be stressful because you are meeting goals, we try to make the process as fun and rewarding as possible! Finally, Sixt is focused on innovation. this is imperative for our business and clearly seen through MyDriver and other services that have pushed us beyond our competitors. We are consistently updating policies to match the times and also support our customers. After 6 years in the United States Sixt has grown significantly and our people also reflect this. Many employees that have proved themselves in entry level positions are now managers, not due to favoritism but because of performance.

Pros

Flexible Scheduling Downtime Experience Co workers Paid training in Fort Lauderdale.

Cons

They will promote people that have worked there for a month over hard working employees that have proved themselves for over a year. Don't work in a downtown branch, airport only or your entire work time with them will amount to nothing. Commission at downtown branches is awful even for top performers.

We strive to provide the best training, flexibility, and work life balance for all of our employees so we are glad you are seeing positive results. We feel that our downtown branches are a great place to start your career with Sixt as apposed to an Airport. The downtown may be slower paced, however, there is more room to learn different aspects of the business which can put you ahead of others in the long run. In fact, all of our Management Trainee's also start at the downtown's for their first rotation because we feel that this is a great representation of the rental car business and all that goes into being a manager. For instance, as a Rental Sales Agent at a downtown you may help your manager with fleet planning, deliveries, and even returns which are most tasks that an RSA at an Airport would not have experience with. We would encourage you to reach out to HR or even your Branch or Regional/Area Manager about promotion opportunities and what you can do to move up quickly. Typically if an employee is going the extra mile, helping with managerial duties on their downtime, taking initiative to problem solve, and prompt while still providing great service, they are a shoe in for a promotion. Really unorthodox and unprofessional manager

Pros

The few pros are: company sells a good product and has great name recognition internationally. I really wish this company implement better management. Which leads to my cons

Cons

Lots: overworking employees, contacting employees off the clock hours after shift, sometimes in the middle of the night, impossible expectations, inadequate equipment to fufill job duties, manager in West Palm Beach doesn't care about employee appreciation, and manager makes questionable remarks about other employees and customers.

Thank you for reviewing Sixt. As you mentioned, we do have great brand recognition across the world and are very proud of our success in the United States as well. We are glad that you enjoy this aspect of Sixt. To address your concerns regarding the PBI location, there are times where we have emergency call outs and our managers or other willing employees will have the opportunity to cover a shift, however, this is never ideal or expected of an employee. Our management team will simply ask if an employee could cover in these cases, if not, then it is the managers responsibility to take over the shift. Additionally, all employees have the adequate uniform, computers, keys, and vehicles to complete the Rental Sales Agent position. We understand that there are times where we may not have a specific vehicle for a customer due to late returns, damage, seasonality, etc. In these cases you are able to offer the customer an alternative vehicle to accommodate their trip. Our Managers and Fleet team will be able keep you updated on solutions if this situation were to arise. Finally, our quarterly Employee Excitement Survey for the area has proved to be satisfactory, showing that our employees are satisfied with the pay ans well as management. Likewise, out retention for the area has been very high with some employees who have been with us since the location opened. With the sales role being very entry level, many of our employees have moved up within the organization or moved on to careers in their field of study after graduation. We are concerned to hear that you have had a negative experience regarding this location and would encourage you to reach out to our VP of HR regarding your comments.
