I have worked at a few companies in my career and everyone of them has been a different experience. There have been a few where the workload was easy or just the same every day and then you clock out and go home. Others have been more challenging. I think both have their place, but when I look back on my life and really see where I have made the most difference and grown the most, it has been because of the more challenging role. It was where I had to learn, think on my feet, sometimes spend time outside the office, and apply it all. Simplus has been that kind of company, the kind that has required the absolute best that I can give. Many moments have been challenging, I have fallen on my face a few times, but this environment has allowed me to pick myself back up and be even more prepared the next time. In addition to this, we provide professional services here. Some companies I have worked for in the past have provided better services than others, but I have never worked at a company that has more talent. I interact with clients every day and they can't say enough about our team and how much our services have benefited them. My co-workers are a lot of fun and they do a lot for others even outside the office.

I worked at Simplus as a developer since the very beginning. I know the management well and really enjoyed my time there. I only left to begin my own venture. Simplus is a real startup. Things move fast and change a lot. I saw the company go from 5 people to over 50 in two years. There is huge opportunity to grow if you are the intrapreneur type. Things are a little harder if you can't adapt to change. Simplus is always trying new things. If you would like to innovate you'll get the opportunity here. Also, sometimes experiments fail and I've seen departments close down. Those who are flexible and willing to learn find other places in the company and those who won't get left behind. I myself loved this environment because I constantly had opportunities to learn new things. I heard a lot of employees complain about job security in the last few months but I never ever felt that my job was at risk. The hat I was wearing might be decommissioned but there are plenty of hats to wear at Simplus and they are willing to give you time to learn. As for the day to day, there is nice furniture. People stay out of their offices and remain accessible. Unlimited vacation. Right near tracks. Fun culture. The founders are fun to work with and accessible. I worked directly with them a lot at the beginning and it was my favorite job to date. The company is much larger now so there is less facetime but I know from my direct experience that the business is in good hands. My favorite part about Simplus is that it is an idea first company. Ideas hold more merit than titles. You want to run a department? Invent one. You can't do that at Adobe.
