Pros

Great work environment that values employees and encourages individual contributions at all levels. There is an overall confidence and belief in the company's vision and product offerings that generates a positive atmosphere. I like that you don't have to wait a long time for benefits to kick in and the 21 days of Paid Time Off in your first year shows a serious commitment to work-life balance. In regards to Communication, I give very high marks as well. Frequent "All In" Meetings and Sage Central are a couple of examples of how well the Organization communicates, from Pascal and the ELT all the way down to local news items and bulletins.

Cons

Not much to vent about really. I think as the labor market in certain areas (specifically in the Technical space) continues to tighten, Sage needs to try to stay more competitive in salaries - both when trying to get top talent in the door as well as when trying to keep top performers from leaving

I never worked at a worst managed company

Pros

Great place for brown nosers, passive aggressives and sociopaths. Standards are low so it be comfortable for someone in the right position. Many in the rank and file are likable and easy to work with individuals.

Cons

Too heavily focused in on the short-term. No obvious career growth opportunities, management is trying to reinvent company without rank and file input or buy in. Only tech company I have seen where most tech management lacks any kind of technical chops. Employee morale is generally poor. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Pros

I think that people are great to work with, and their offices are beautiful to work in

Cons

They have let go a massive amount of people who were strong performers and were good leadership. Most of the work is controlled by the US offices with no understanding of Canadian culture and customers. They seem to think that US and Canada are the same countries so they try to mesh everything they do together which doesn't work. They also have an incompetent HR team and Recruiters who work in the US who have no idea how to recruit Canadian employees as well. I find them to be clueless overall
