Overwork employees

Pros

The coworkers are nice to work with, the cafeteria has a lot to choose from when you have time to actually eat.

Cons

They expect you to work a ridiculous amount of hours with no incentive. Breaks are too short for the amount of hours worked. Very un organized.

Bad management

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

- They will never fire you, even if you do nothing for years... - There are a lot of different projects and very interesting challenges, lot of opportunities - Some of the people are extremely talented and you can learn a lot even as a senior

Cons

- Management is extremely bad (with a few exceptions, really just a few globally) - Hungarian management is even worse - They have very bad habits, old processes and a broken concept for rewarding high performing individuals, especially in software engineering - They value age more than performance - There are people on all levels who don't do anything and they don't realize how harmful this is - A lot of bad decisions go through even if there is explicit communication about the potentially bad consequences (they just don't care) - Being loud is much more appreciated than being smart or actually delivering
