Pros

Exposure to various technologies that are not immediately related to my academic studies. They've given me on-the-job training, just about everything I need to be successful at what I do. They're paying for my graduate studies, certifications, and all other related technical training external to the company.

Cons

Management doesn't give much feedback and is often too busy to respond to simple requests such as those for tools necessary to do work (e.g., logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, multimeters, etc.)

Pros

Raytheon has interesting work and many things you can be involved with just by transferring to different businesses. You do not have to go to another company to work on something different. Right now there are plenty opportunities and variety as far as work goes. I feel the pay the benefits or good, but I am not sure how it compares with other companies. I know out of school, for the location, they offered the best.

Cons

Not enough motivation to have success other than not working weekends and no good way to bring on new ideas. I believe since all of the programs are military, new ideas seem to be looked down upon. Things ideas recieved, still be not be implemented.
