Pros

-Culture of the company is wonderful. For those of you moving to utah from out of state, there are many others like you. It's easy to make friends at work. - You get out what you put in. easy to make some $$$ if you're busting your butt

Cons

They preach transparency but at the rate of growth it is difficult to know exactly what changes are going to be made in your department.

Pros

* Great rank and file people who genuinely make it a pleasant place to work * Lots of opportunity to have an impact on the product and infrastructure * Great career advancement opportunities for junior engineers

Cons

* Bait and switch tactics are common in hiring (you've been warned!) * Company values are preached but not practiced (e.g. transparency, diversity, etc.) * Very reactive management and planning style (e.g. only care and act if something is on fire) * Below market compensation and no annual compensation review * Time vested RSUs are clawed back either immediately or after three years (depending on contract) should you leave

Pros

Great people at Qualtrics, young and smart. Some good leaders:COO, CEO, CFO. CEO can be inspirational, makes you feel you want to be part of something big At times they do show empathy for their people and being human

Cons

If you looking to join, caution, over promise, roles change dramatically TACOS are worthless, results are important regardless of how you achieved it. At times feels like a disconnect between what CEO says and what really goes on. I have seen leadership team members display attributes that would not be tolerated in other companies - yet no accounability for their actions even when they completely sabotage teams good work and efforts. Do not raise issues or call out toxic behaviours, its not tolerated
