Pros

No pros that I can think of.

Cons

1. More of an HR company. There are so many HRs that I keep wondering what their job is 2. Facilities are poor. I work in a building infested with flies, mosquitoes, lizards and many others 3. Only some of the employees work. The rest are to send the status report to their bosses 4. Even the experienced people have no proper technical knowledge. 5. Those who have been in this company for a long time, they are not at all flexible and think that their way of working is right and all others are not. 6. Racist place. All the people who come from a certain place group together and they don't like others 7. Career stagnation. After sometime, you don't know how you can keep working on the same thing for the rest of your career 8. Pathetic culture. You are expected to give new ideas out of nowhere, just after joining. If you don't, managers are not impressed. 9. You have to literally steal other's work for you to progress

Pros

Leading position in technology. Used to have good benefit and opportunities but is vanishing quickly.

Cons

Getting worse in recent years. Inhuman project managers. Unrealistic schedule and do-whatever-to-meet-deadline attitude. Team sacrifice family time and weekend/holidays to meet unrealistic schedule.

Pros

- You will gain ATE tester experience. - Great city to live in. - Professional employees.

Cons

- Product Test Engineering department is like a 24/7 grinder. Unless they grind you 24/7, Qualcomm will not be able to keep up with the demand for consumer chips which are in high demand. - You will only gain ATE tester experience. You will get cornered into ATE and your career will not have other possibilities and you will get stuck in production manufacturing environments. Even though Qualcomm makes cutting edge technology, as a product test engineer your knowledge will be constrained and you will gain no knowledge of design, architecture etc. - Great city to live in. But you will not have time to enjoy it. We got calls during weekends and also got calls around 3-4AM to resolve tester issues so that production will not stall. Qualcomm took no measures to arrange a night shift and if you don't answer the call, it will be noted in the system and you will get chopped eventually. - Professional employees. 90% of them are under the age of 30 and are Indian. It will be easier if you are Indian too.
