Cons

1. Too much work pressure. If you want to life a long life, do not be here. 2. If you want early life diabetes, BP -- welcome to QCOM.

Pros

Qualcomm has a stable work environment, does not layoff people that much. The benefits package is pretty good, and it is in San Diego with very good weather.

Cons

It's very difficult to move up if you're not closer to upper management. Getting promoted, or career growth opportunities are very limited. Employees usually have a feeling of having to live with unfairness in their daily lives which sucks out the motivation to do good work. Morale is low.

The company has the best benefits I ever had. The culture can be compared to start-up with all the benefits of a large scale public company. Brilliant co-workers.

Cons

You have to put in a lot of working hours. The company wants to see results in return. If you don't deliver, you are done with Qualcomm.
