      Pros

      - technology: very good projects to work on - experience: people with lot of experience and knowledge to learn from - competitive environment: lots of work needs to be done, lots of interaction across teams, wide rande of things to learn - company has very good reputation

      Cons

      - lot of the work very specific to qualcomm so becomes difficult to find other options when u want to move out - pay: basic salary is not great, bonuses are worse - depending on the division/team very long hours to work

      Pros

      Some smart engineers you work with and can learn from. Potentially interesting work. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Company has changed from early years.. more corporate, competitive, political. Some bad managers are there (i.e. technically capable people who should not be managers). Can be bureaucratic and/or clique-ish, your experience will depend on which group you are part of.. my group was a dead end and another group had people promoted once or twice or even more.. then I decided to leave :-)
