Start by 8:30 AM Leave by 4:30 PM. Login again almost daily from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Lot of micro management from Director. Unprofessional attitude. Manager follows director's lead. All work comes with a tag of "priority". Unrealistic deadlines. Sometimes asked to work over weekends. Have to work on India holidays. Overcommitment to stakeholders drains out energy. Team supports various stakeholders who has transitioned most of their manual work. Team members can be asked to get involved in any of the work. No core finance work. More of support role, data download, update systems etc. People are resigning. Not a positive environment. Analyst role is filled by Associate at a lower salary. Hikes are not good. Associates do not get RSUs after joining. Among others only few get RSUs after joining. Slow promotions.

The culture is way too adversarial. Critical decisions are too heavily influenced by interdepartmental political. Talented individuals very quickly choose to work elsewhere, leaving the few remaining experts with twice the responsibility, including the responsibility to train less-than-ideally-qualified newcomers. Qualcomm would basically hire anyone, regardless of qualifications. The pay is also relatively low, compared to salaries offered elsewhere.
