Pros

Talented workforce, great products, high energy environment

Cons

Intense, pressure cooker environment; needing to call into meetings at night/weekends to support worldwide teams; last 2 years lot of turmoil at exec level, much talent leaving the company due to all the turmoil; plethora of overqualified people (everybody wants to work at Qualcomm, so there is an incredible amount of talent), this makes it challenging to move around when opportunities arise

Pros

- Some great minds still work there - Reasonably good benefits (used to be much better, however) - Used to be an absolutely awesome company. Is it possible for that to happen again?

Cons

- A top-heavy company, resulting in a horribly political environment with much backstabbing as all levels of management try to "make their mark" without regard for the inefficiencies resulting from most of their initiatives. - A tough company for females! - A Culture of Fear: an environment where high level executives decide it is OK to yell at everyone in every single meeting instead of leading by example and identifying the real problems that are occurring within Qualcomm. Note to Bosses: If you are yelling at everyone, feeling that your whole team is lacking, maybe you are the problem, not your team. Turn inward, work with your team in a positive manner, and fix the issues!
