Pros

The company culture has changed drastically after new ceo came. Too much work pressure, weekend work, unbelievable targets and harrasment over small issue. Nothing good.

Cons

Don't go by older reviews the company has changed and is not good place to work. There is no job security.

More work and less benefits

Pros

Nothing compared to other software companies

Cons

If you are workjng in Service Delivery Maintenance it is more and more work and forget about work life balance. People are loaded with work and it is increasing day by day. No personal life. They want only work. No care no thinking about employees. They do lot of advertisement that we care a lot about our employees. But they do not even provide internet and telephone expenses when everyone is forced to work from home due to covid from last one year. Other Software companies provide Internet/telephone and help to setup home office for working from home. So that employees can work properly.

Pros

Free lunch, gym, nice location, great coworkers, ample parking lot (unlike other areas of SB), good work life balance in most departments

Cons

Management blatantly choose favorites and when you're out of the inner circle, you might as well resign. Favorites seem to be men most of the time and it's not unusual to see a man who has worked there for half of the amount of time as a woman be promoted over her (even when she works long hours and produces great work). The products are outdated and the industry has consolidated significantly in the past few decades, which means that competitors are huge conglomerates with more resources and better, more modern interfaces. The founders (Prez & CEO) purchased a home out of state a few years ago and rumors fly that they may retire soon. Their children worked at QAD for a few years, but appear to have their own career goals outside of the company, which makes some employees nervous that the company will be sold to a large competitor. If you insist on working here, be aware that they WILL lowball on salary. Be prepared to negotiate more aggressively than with other companies in SB.
