Pros

QAD does a good job of allowing employees to chart their own career within the company. Due to the company size and employees being spread out very globally, you often wear many different hats so day to day never looks the same. Though the industry has changed drastically, QAD has evolved to stay relevant.

Cons

Management has largely been with the company a long time which has many pros, but the drawback is "that's not the QAD way" opinions when change is introduced.

Pros

QAD provides an excellent work/life balance that helps drive success of its employees. Being appreciated and treated to the perks of working here help motivate the team to do a great job. The people are one of the best things about working here. There is definitely a culture of team-players who have each other's backs. Something that can be hard to find at other companies.

Cons

There are many people here who have a long tenure, which also means that there isn't necessarily a quick rise to the top depending on your short term goals. That said, there is room for growth and even creating your own path for success.

Pros

Co-workers ; Beautiful Corporate offices ;Interesting projects to work on If you are lucky enough to have a great fit in the organization, then QAD can be great. Just don't expect to be promoted very high into the organization

Cons

All of R&D is run by a single woman. The result of this is that because she runs the entire show, priorities are shifted constantly. This takes a huge toll on the various development teams who must often stop mid- development on one project and move to another. Extremely frustrating for the team members and results in lack of buy in to the current plan, since everyone knows that it will change 180 degrees in a few months
