Thank you for your comments. We have implemented reductions in force in some areas of QAD while growing in others. We have worked to ensure those employees do have good transition packages when they are impacted. For your current concerns, I would recommend connecting directly with your manager or your HR representative. It is important to hear your concerns directly and answer your questions as well. Our intent is to improve QAD and build a better company for all involved to experience.

Pros

Beautiful campus, free catered lunches, stocked kitchen, gym

Cons

If you are young, you will be taken advantage of and paid much less than your older colleagues Growth and promotion is based on favoritism by management, or your age

Pros

Great location. Beautiful views of Santa Barbara. Catered lunches at work every day. Full gym on site. Flexibility to work from home when needed as well as flexible hours.

Cons

Company places a premium on quantity over quality and shows. The product is actually pretty terrible when you look at it. All they care about is how many features can they advertise. R&D is not given the time they need or deserve to properly build features and thus the quality of the product suffers. While many of the R&D folks have great ideas to improve the process, no one in senior management has the courage to step up and make it happen. They would rather debate things for months as opposed to actually getting things done. Pay is mediocre at best with salary increases almost non-existent. Company claims to be agile, but couldn't be further from it. They don't respond to change and are stuck doing the things the way they were done in the industry 20 years ago.
